Recently, the new regulations on asset management were issued, which posed both development opportunities and major changes to the private equity fund industry. In the pan-asset management and unified supervision era, how to understand the background and impact of the new regulations? breaking the rigid payment, controlling the structured fund, de-leveraging, raising the threshold, banning the capital pool, denesting, and de-channeling: how would they affect the asset management industry? What impact will the new regulations on asset management have on PE fund managers and PE funds? What is the present development situation of private equity industry? And what characteristics do legislation system, regulatory system, market system and juridical practice present?

In light of the questions and reflections brought about by the new trend of the times and the new changes in the industry, the Green Legal Global Alliance (GLGA), Sina Finance, Beijing DOCVIT Law Firm will jointly host “Forum on Private Equity and Asset Management in the New Regulatory Era and Release Conference of Legal Health Index of National Private Equity Industry” to discuss the above-mentioned issues. At the forum, Legal Health Index of National Private Equity Industry will be released for the first time, so as to comprehensively and objectively reflect the development status of China’s private equity industry, and look into its development trend in the future.

At present, China’s financial open-up has entered a substantial promotion stage, and as an important link thereof, opening-up of insurance industry plays a unique role in financial opening-up. Seminar | GLGA’s first seminar held, to discuss "strategy, practice and operation"

On Jan. 14, 2017, Green Legal Global Alliance (GLGA)’s first seminar was held in Beijing DOCVIT Law Firm. Through the analysis and discussion of the new book Private Equity LP, the seminar established such research directions as "Latest development characteristics and trends of private equity LP", "Policy and market outlook on China’s government guiding fund and industry fund", "The effect of financial development of PPP and AMC, etc. on the pattern of PE funds LP" and "Private equity and cross-border M&As". After a lot of discussions and studies, this seminar achieved fruitful results.

GLGA Lecture | The Sixth Session of GLGA Lecture Hall | Mr. Guan Tao's Exclusive Interpretation on Trade Friction, Economic Situation and RMB Exchange Rate

On July 25, 2019, the sixth session of GLGA Lecture Hall was successfully held at the Innovation and Development Center, Green Legal Global Alliance. Today, we have our keynote speaker here, Mr. Guan Tao, doctoral supervisor of economics at Wuhan University, and Dong Furen Endowed Chair professor. He has long been engaged in research on currency convertibility, international balance of payment, exchange rate policy, and international capital flow, has written numerous work reports and academics, and participated in the design of a raft of major reform programs of foreign exchange management system from 1994 to 2014. In this lecture, Mr. Guan Tao will make an exclusive interpretation on trade friction, economic situation and RMB exchange rate.
