Introduction: On January 14, 2017, The 1st Seminar of Green Legal Global Alliance came to a successful end in Beijing DOCVIT Law Firm. After analysis and discussion on the new book Private Equity LP, the seminar established the research directions, including the latest development characteristics and trend of private equity LP, policies and market prospects of the Chinese government's guiding fund and industry fund, the influence of financial development of PPP and AMC on the pattern of private equity fund LP as well as private equity and cross-border merger and acquisition. After discussion and study by many parties, this seminar yielded fruitful outcomes.

On the afternoon of January 14, 2017, The 1st Seminar of Green Legal Global Alliance kicked off in Beijing DOCVIT Law Firm, the 56^th floor, Fortune Financial Center (FFC). The seminar, with its focus on "capital allocation strategy, investment practice and operation", invited leaders, experts, scholars and industry leaders in the economic and law circles in an attempt to provide strong support for China's financial development and to sustain long-term progress of national economy.

Before the seminar was held, the sponsors CITIC Press Group China Road Research and Publication Center and Green Legal Global Alliance held a news conference for release of the book Private Equity LP by joint efforts. At the conference, Ms. Ji Hong introduced the basic information of the relevant series of books to guests present at the conference. Ms. Ji Hong expressed that this book is the first published in the "Private Placement 2.0 Era Series Books". CITIC Press Group China Road Research and Publication Center has formed a long-term publishing plan in this field in an attempt to release other books in the field of PE and LP with this book as the beginning. At the same time, Green Legal Global Alliance was invited to undertake the topic research on legal issues related to Private Equity LP and publish relevant legal books in 2017. The author Mr. Lu Yuebing introduced the creation background and framework of Private Equity LP. Mr. Wang Zhongmin highly praised this new book. Mr. Wang expressed that this book is China's first one systemically studying private equity LP, filling the gap in the relevant field. In addition, this book studied the basic development situations of global private equity market and attached much more attention to deeply studying global governance framework of typical Chinese-style guiding fund, Fund of Funds, secondary market and other issues, which is of great pioneering significance. Ms. Zhang Liping and Mr. Hou Bo made speeches in succession.

At the Seminar of "Capital Allocation Strategy, Investment Practice and Operation", leaders, experts, scholars and industry leaders made comprehensive and in-depth discussion jointly over such topics as the latest development characteristics and trend of private equity LP, policies and market prospects of the Chinese government's guiding fund and industry fund, the influence of financial development of PPP and AMC on the pattern of private equity fund LP as well as private equity and cross-border merger and acquisition. From the perspective of the reality of China's economic development, guests present at the seminar discussed the development status of private equity LP, proposed suggestions for the development directions and strategies of China's LP in the future, summarized the development characteristics of China's economy and finance in 2016 and also analyzed and forecast China's financial situation and directions to make breakthroughs in 2017. Guests present at the seminar also made discussion and exchanges and gave comments on the positioning and functions of law in private equity investment, PPP and AMC, etc.

At the seminar, Mr. Wang Zhongmin gave a keynote speech for the development situation of the entire private equity markets from different perspectives. Mr. Chen Chao also delivered a keynote speech focusing on "large investors and private equity investment".
